Junior Cashier ---Frankfurt

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Cashier to join our finance team in Germany. This position will be responsible for managing daily cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping, and providing support to the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily cash receipts and disbursements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of each day and reconcile with system records.
• Prepare bank deposits, ensuring adherence to company and banking policies.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper documentation for all transactions.
• Assist in managing petty cash.
• Support the accounts payable and receivable processes as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the finance team.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with some post-secondary education in finance or accounting preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
• Proficiency in German and English languages, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
