VMware Sales Academy Overview:
VMware invests for the future in VMware’s Sales Organization through the VMware Sales Academy. The VMware Sales Academy (VSA) is an extensive training program with two tracks: Inside Sales and Technical Services. The academy involves sales, technical and product training for all participants. Following training, successful participants will be moved into an Associate Sales role or a Technical Services Role (Associate Systems Engineer or Associate Consultant): the next step in their VMware Journey. The Associate Services Sales Manager is a motivated, result driven individual that works with a territory sales team to identify, develop, and close new and renewal VMware Services business through the provisioning of VMware solutions to help our customers accelerate and maximize their investment in VMware technology to achieve business outcomes. You will facilitate and conduct multifaceted, extended negotiations for the sale from simple to complex, high-value contracts for solutions and/or services. You will apply consultative services selling skills to develop attractive value propositions for strategic VMware customers. You will utilize the knowledge of VMware's service offerings and understanding of the customer's business to develop customized proposals that present solutions that successfully sell the organization’s capabilities to customer’s technology or business outcomes. You will collaborate with delivery teams to ensure that delivery capability matches the proposed solution. Learning industry, organization, product and service knowledge, you will transfer this knowledge to customers and prospects.
