MAIN ACTIVITIES
Manages the overall financial planning process of the country, supporting and advising the market management
Ensures the accurate and timely coordination and execution of all financial planning processes (i.e. budget, rolling forecasts)
Defines and monitors the expected economic/financial targets in a prompt and timely manner in collaboration with line managers of the organization.
Supports the business and the finance team in defining the strategy and set of actions recommended to improve financial performance and exploit opportunities.
Shares with the business leaders and the finance central team prompt and timely explanation of possible variances between expected and actual results on the relevant variables by comparing performance with operating plans and standards and providing specific recommendations to address the business.
Guarantees the coherence between management and consolidated financial data at all levels of the organization.
Ensures the timely preparation of reports and Profit and Loss statements of the market, in order to guarantee the respect of deadlines in planning processes as per group calendars.
Manages the local treasury operations, respecting rules and guidelines provided by the central Treasury team.
Ensures the full tax compliance in order to meet tax obligations properly and to avoid tax liabilities; cooperates with the central team in properly planning the tax obligations.
As a member of the Board, is responsible for the local Financial Governance, approves income statement and balance sheet, signs statutory financial statements and reviews trial balance and sign-off, ensuring that all the regulations are constantly applied and respected.
Proposes processes improvements to the central finance teams (accounting, tax, treasury) to enhance local processes.
Facilitates the accurate and timely exchange of information
Manages own organization and succession planning.
Manages and execute HR processes ensuring their implementation for his/her own population.
Supports talent management process (selection, development and career path)
Ensures team spirit, good team-working environment, conflict negotiation, individual and group communication.
Drives his/her group and enables the right level of cooperation among functions.
Ensures appropriate development, training and coaching for the direct reports.
Provides leadership and mentorship to the entire team.
Ensures communication of vision and strategy for his/her area of responsibility above and below within the organization.
SCOPE AND SCALE
Reports to: solid line to Country GM dotted line to the APAC Finance Director
The position coordinates the Finance Manager of all the other business units
Bachelors’ degree in Economics or business related field required.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance department; at least 3 years of experience in similar roles
Master knowledge and application of planning & controlling and local accounting principles
Master knowledge and application of international financial rules
