Description
Join the team responsible for the localization and release of all Apple products. We are a passionate
group dedicated to bringing the best products to China. We are looking for highly motivated stu-
dents to join our team.
There will be opportunities to work with an amazing team that prides themselves with innovation
and a simple clean user interface. Strong regional knowledge is critical as this role requires focusing
on regional specific functionality.
The ideal candidate should be self motivated, a strong and creative problem solver, one who pays
meticulous attention to detail, is highly organized, and has good communication skills. Every indi-
vidual on our team makes a clear difference to our products.
Responsibilities will include:
• Working on software localization and cloud based services for China market
• Building up and maintaining the infrastructure to collect and analyze local feedback for Apple
products
• Reproducing issues reported by customers
Required Experience/Skills:
Major in Computer Science, or equivalents.
Native or accredited fluency in Chinese. Fluent in English. Cantonese or Shanghainese is a plus.
Web application building up and maintenance experience (Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySQL, etc)
Scripting experience (Perl, Python, JavaScript, R, etc.)
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills are essential
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Familiar with OS X and iOS
Experience in data analyzing
Student project experience in areas of classification and information retrieval, natural language
processing, and the like
Interest and background in translation, internationalisation and localisation
