Mission & Main Tasks:
As an Senior IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for new IT-Projects, collect business requirements and implementation of new technologies.
Design and architecture of IT solutions to meet client requirements and deliver business benefits – provide technical direction and mentoring for all project resources.
It includes also being the interface between the business departments of Audi China, the Joint-Venture as well as the German headquarter.You will be responsible for early knowledge of technology and technology related trends in China with a potential impact on Audi to be support and design the digitalization future of Audi.
Job Duties:
- Design of technical solutions and matching them to the challenge Audi China dealing with
- Responsible for the management and satisfactory completion of medium-large IT projects in time, budget and quality
- Monitors and maintains all required financial records for compliance and audit to all agreed requirements
- Reliable handover of IT-Systems from project phase to operation phase,
observe the results for further improvements
- Be a part of governance to ensure feasibility and viability of any change control and monitor technical progress of the projects to support timescales
- Optimization of existing IT architectures and conceptual design of future architectures by using modern technologies, platforms and IT development methodologies (e.g. agile development, DevOps, continuous integration…)
- Consulting of projects and business departments, managing of 3rd-Party vendors, working closely with analysts, designers and staff
- Integrating new technologies and mobile-solutions into Audi IT-Processes in consideration with group standards
- Screening for new industry trends and technologies, documentation of it in a trend radar, communicate and transfer it as a proposal into a proof of concepts
- Guide business strategy realization towards the use of world leading standard IT-Solutions
- Design and implementation of processes and organizational changes as required to support technology requirements
- Networking with relevant technology companies, start-ups and the academic world

Education:
- Master degree in Computer Science or related fields like Software Engineering or other majors with strong IT related background
Professional Skills:
- Essential previous experience of 3+ years in a corporate environment

- Extensive experience of information management methodologies, techniques and technologies
- Excellent understanding of new technologies (e.g. Cloud, Web Services, Big Data, Mobile Apps etc.)
- Experienced in Cloud Computing (e.g. Micro services, AWS, Azure, Converged Infrastructure) as well as Virtualization and Server technologies
- More than three years project management and methods experience (e.g. ITIL, SEP, SCRUM)
- Deep knowledge and understanding of architectural designs, IT building blocks, databases and SW development methods
- Familiar with major tools for agile development (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Background in applied programming will be a plus
- Proficiency in MS-Office, MS-Project will be an advantage
