Akuna Capital is a fast-growing trading house that
specializes in derivative market-making and arbitrage. We pair up experienced

company trades on major derivative markets across the US, our offices are in Chicago,
Shanghai, Champaign and Boston.

Akuna Shanghai office is seeking motivated Development Interns to join our innovative and growing technology team.
Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Development team working on various, vital projects that will be incorporated into the production system, and on important research projects.
Development Interns will work with cutting-edge technology in a high-performing, low-latency environment. Students will also gain experience in multi-tier application development while handling real-time events that will affect Akuna’s trading processes.

C++ is Akuna's language of choice for applications that require computational heavy-lifting and for applications that have timing-critical, low-latency processes such as trading strategies. C++ provides the flexibility and low-level control that our developers need to get maximum performance out of multi-core, super-scalar processors.
Desired Technical Knowledge and Educational Requirements:
• Pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field
• Graduating in 2017
• Experience with C++, Linux, muti-threading
• Good English communication skill required
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write concise and eloquent code
• Passion for innovation and building systems from the ground up
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
• Must be detail-oriented and a team player
• Major GPA of 3.0 or above
