The Support Technology Analytics team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead senior management with actionable, easy to understand insights to drive business changes and new initiatives in AppleCare Contact Center.

  • Strong analytical skills with proven record of synthesizing large amounts of structured and unstructured data into easy to understand insights tailored for all relevant audiences’ to solve business problems.
  • A passion for identifying the root cause of problems, and an ability to identify, propose, and recommend innovative solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven record of maintaining a global perspective - seeing beyond current issues in order to understand downstream impacts of decisions and directions.
  • Broad-minded, with scrupulous attention to detail and desire for end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
  • Strong business acumen and consumer focus with demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically, with a strong sense of urgency to resolve issues.
  • Excellent project management and consultative skills.
  • Able to work effectively on sometimes ambiguous data and constructs within an fast changing environment, tight deadlines and priority changes.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English preferred.
  • Experience and familiarity within the contact center environment, preferable.
  • Strong working knowledge of JMP, Python, R, SAS or other statistical methods.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Tableau.
  • Solid technical database knowledge in Teradata and experience optimizing SQL queries on large data.
  • Understand and have exposure to the use of statistical techniques, measures and predictive modeling in large scale data analysis.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to develop and present conclusions and recommendation to senior management.
  • Comfortable supporting, collaborating and communicating with senior management and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationship through active listening, delivering promised results, and establishing trust.
  • High level of professionalism, energy and sense of urgency to “make things happen”.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, strong sense of empathy and ability to be decisive.


Description

  • Identify and present areas of opportunity and help senior management prioritize focus areas. 
  • Critically assess and optimize existing business processes globally. 
  • Develop strong business partnerships with senior management through regular meetings and workshop to improve their knowledge in metrics, processes and insights impacting their areas. 
  • Be engaged as a consulting partner for all data driven projects, decision support, and process improvement initiatives. 
  • Explore and utilize new analytical tools, research into new metrics and process which will enhance customer journey and their engagement with AppleCare. 
  • A strategic thinker who can ‘connect the dots’ of the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables. 
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with the ability of working with multiple cross functional teams.


Education

Bachelor degree required in a Business field(with quantitative emphasis); Graduate degree preferred.
